Practical(ly) Shoes

For this blog, I will be showing you two of my most practical and go-to pairs of shoes, which I absolutely love. Every time I purchase a piece of clothing or a pair of shoes, I think of ways to style them. So, along with showing you the shoes, I am going to give you a few styling tips.

White Sneakers

After a long long time of searching for the perfect pair of white sneakers, I fell in love with these. Now, these go with almost anything, but here are a few tips on how to style them.

It is one of my favourite trends, because there are a million ways to style them. They are basic, yet they enhance the right outfit you style them with. Whether they are basics or even a party dress. The first time I had seen someone wearing sneakers with a shimmery golden dress was in a dance movie and fell in love with it.

Looking at that, I realized wearing sneakers is not only restricted to pants, but can also be styled with a mid-length dress, or a printed maxi. Also, you could try wearing them with a denim skirt and crop top. Also, an athleisure kind silhouette works perfectly with these kind of sneakers.

They go really well with straight pants and a kurta too, if you want to go ethnic, and don’t hold back on the big jhumkas and bangles.

The list could go on and on, but these were just a few.

 Nude Heels

I prefer wearing heels that have either a block heel or wedges or are platform and chunky. But, even if you have a pretty pair of staple nude stillettos, they would work just fine if styled in some of these ways.

The first thing I think of when I look at these are formal. They work perfectly in any kind of formal situation, be it with a tailored pant suit or structured dress. Another way I personally love wearing these are with flowy dresses or a printed jumpsuit to brunch, breaking the monotony of the print. Pairing these type of heels with an Indian outfit works really well too.

Basically, they are the must have pair of shoes in every girls closet, which I took me a long time to find. If you want to to look taller, a pair of nude heels tend to elongate your legs.

You don’t NEED to own the exact same pairs, but anything similar or of your choice will also do. I myself just got my hands on shoes like these. I never had anything like this since about a week ago.

These are just two of the many shoes I own, and what I think will go well them. So feel free to incorporate your style into the shoes you own.

Until next time…..STAY SASSY!
